Sometimes I even out geek myself. Which is why I nearly fell off my cool Battelstar Galatica chair and spilled Romulan Ale all over my Sith T-shirt when I read they are planning on making a big screen version of the Equilizer! Damn, I loved that show when I was a kid. No one could out cool Robert McCall! He didn't just kick ass and take names, his accent made you feel bad for being born! I agree with your comment on the equalizer - Good show. But isnt the tag line from the A-Team.
My memory is a little rough but I think it goes like this:
"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team."
This was followed by some music and some really cool explosions
What Mark meant to sing before spilling cerel from his Knight Rider bowl all over his Greatest American Hero lunch box was,

Which was followed by some really bad flying.
