Ring - Car Conundrum

For my 10th anniversary this August I am getting a new engagement ring. I don't want to brag, but it is HONKING HUGE!!

I plan to wear it in rooms without natural lighting to brighten things up, and as a lighthouse volunteer if needed. Truly, I am ready to give back if required.

But recently it has been brought to my attention that maybe - just maybe - it is a tinney, tiny bit selfish of me to be getting a new engagement ring when Mark still doesn't have a new car.

Now just to be clear, Mark may not have a new car, but it's not like he is biking it everywhere. Which he would if he could. Don't kid yourself, he would love it. Exercise, exercise, exercise. But his obsession with light weight aluminum two wheeled vehicles aside, haven't I sat through Red Dawn a million times? Don't I tell him him that he is more menacing then Batman, and with better pecks? Isn't the fridge full of weird curried food that only he will eat? I couldn't deserve this ring more if I had to personally remove the sweat from a ditch digger's armpits with only my tongue.

Bling bling!

Maybe you can buy Mark a new car too. Does he like the remote controlled variety?

by the way did you mean conundrum?

I love it! Mark's life will improve once you have the ring because he will be able to distract you from anything by pointing at the sparkle it makes on the walls. He really will be able to get away with murder!!

To all those worried that Mark may not get a new car, including Mark; I have resolved that we will consider the question seriously over the next year. Then it will be moved to committee where we hope a fair and equitable decision will be forth coming. We are very excited about the process!

Think the committee members will have a biased opinion? Detemining the members should be open for debate
