Big Ideas and Mythology

I listen to the Big Idea's podcast a lot. I like to listen to it while I run. I takes my mind off the pain.

Big Ideas for those not in the know, is a lecture series, which features prominent thinkers discussing events, theories, history, etc. Most of the people doing the lectures are University Professors who lecture in depth on a topic in their area of specialization.

It's also happens to be absolutely fascinating. It makes me feel smarter than I am. Although I like to pretend that I have read a bunch of interesting treaties on stuff that is important to people who don't eat meat. But sometimes people find me out. This is where Big Ideas comes to the rescue. After listening to it I think that I can confidently answer the question, 'can you explain the soci-economic tensions that lead to the Cuban revolution.' Just in case I need to have handy small talk ready for my next dinner party.

Good for you. I am not that ambitious, more often than not I'm listening to Art Bell as I fall asleep.

I have been reviewing a lot of comment spam lately, so I decided to cut down on it by aking for verification.

OK That makes sense. But I don't have techno skills and it took me 10 minutes to make the damn thing work. I kept clicking on the handicap logo. Which makes NO sense to have a logo for blind people!!
