Age of Love

When thinking of what to blog about I thought I should do a topic I know something about and have some experience with, I also thought I should do something interesting, as well as current.

I hit the jackpot when I saw the advertisement for a new reality show this summer “The Age of Love.” http://www.nbc.com/Age_of_Love/

There is one 30 year old professional tennis player and he is to meet a group of women in their 40’s and a group of women in their 20’s and chose one. The women in their 40’s are smart and have good careers and look fantastic for their age; the women in their 20’s only seem to be able to offer good looks. (I remember being that insecure and much thinner 20 year old).

Now having a mother that is 13 years older than my father (and married for 45 years) and having an ex-husband that was 10 years my junior I thought I had a little insight into the goings on with women and younger men. Here is the scoop if they don’t have a problem with your age and you don’t have a problem with their age, there is no problem. I think the attraction is only natural. Women peak in their 30’s and 40’s and this can be very attractive to younger men. They often like that we have our own ambitions and careers and aren’t dependent on them.

Now I am not saying I haven’t struggled with this myself and tried to meet someone my own age (because I thought I should), but there is slim pickin’s out there and I don’t think you can really control what or who you are attracted to, and who is attracted to you. So I think I will just continue to sample from the buffet of life.

love,

We also have street cred' when we get older and that's HOT! It seems to me though, that you have slowed down on your sampling and have been hanging around a certain dish on the buffet lately!

Everyone does have a favorite dish!

The problem with Buffet's is that you have to go through all the filler and crap at the front first. HAlf the time your plate is too full by the time you actually get to the good stuff!
