The Mystery is the Murder

So even though I didn't get my way on the Murder Mystery Anniversary party, Mark and I have decided to host one anyway. Just for fun. I can feel you cringing.

So I went to the game store to see what they had. They have tons of Murder Mysteries, for 6 players, others for 8, 10 and 12. The most popular is set in a French Cafe at the end of World War II. Some characters are Nazis, some French Resistance and so on. However, I wasn't sure how many of my friends would be up for: dressing up, learning a background, and acting for a whole evening. So I will invite people and see how many actually RSVP. Let's face it, this isn't for everyone.

I said as much the other night. Especially, as I could tell Natasha wasn't digging the idea. She says she will only play if she gets to be a one legged French Prostitute named Sophie Trollope. Maybe she should would like a parrot as well, I said. "I'm a prostitute, not a pirate!" Truer words have rarely been spoken.

..."I'm a prostitute not a pirate!". You don't get better one liners than that!
