Canada Post Exclusive Interview - What it's like to Live in the Dark Ages

Me: I am calling because for some reason a package I was sent got sent to the wrong address. According to the tracking number it is stuck in Lethbridge. I just want to update my address so it can be sent on.

CP: I am sorry, did you say Breast?

Me: Breast? No? No, no, no! I said WRONG ADDRESS.

CP: Well we don't have anything to do with Breasts. Though as an organization we have no opinion on them one way or another.

Me: Seriously, I just want to reroute a package, just tell me who I have to fax to get this done.

CP: Oh, we don't allow that, it's against the law. [whispers] It's called mail tampering.

Me: Its tampering if its your own mail? And I can prove my identity?

CP: Exactly! You'll have to wait for it to be returned to the sender. Then they can send it onto you.

Me: So your telling me, that even though I have taken the time to call you, to update my address and take care of this you can't help me in anyway?

CP: That's right. Would you like fries with that?

I feel your pain. I am missing about 3 months of my magazine subscriptions despite the mail forward at Canada Post. Somehow, my bills are still able to find me, though. It's so unfair. I want fun mail.
