Schools In

Today was the first day back after four months of summer. Four glorious months, my students where thinking. You could see the sheen of summer memories still sparkling in their eyes this morning.

Although, I did have one who snorted he was happy to be back, summer jobs suck!

My first class was at 8:30 this morning. 13 of my 30 students didn't show up - huge shock! The 17 that came groaned loudly (a few stamped their feet) when I told them I was lecturing today. I think I even heard a curse when I assigned homework. Only two Chinese students took notes, and half heartedly.

Ahh, I love the smell of student discontent in the morning.
