It Happened One Night

Mark was at a conference the other night. It was a school night. At 10pm the girls called. Alright, I called them. Before I knew it I was heading out the door.

Once we hooked up, it became clear that we were rolling until the sun came up. Soon I was arguing the finer points of blogging for business to an marketing rep who thought that blogs were the equivalent of buying sneakers for a legless dogs. Why buy sneakers when you could just strap their patootie into a radio flyer?

Needless to say when the lights came up and it was time to go home I was feeling quite groovy. When I got home I went straight to bed. Gretel could have followed my route by the clothes strewn along the way.

I had to teach at 10am so I set my alarm for 9am, when it went off I jumped up and grabbed the first thing in my closet. Problem, it required my brown boots. The boots I had worn the night before. After some frantic searching I found one boot. Just one. I have no idea where the other one is. The girls assure me I had it on when they dropped me off. I think it went to the place that lint comes from.

Mark is NOT allowed to go out of town on week nights anymore! He is the one that gives us the reality check.
