I have the best office mate. He is erudite, funny, and thoughtful. He has been married for close to 25 years and has an incredibly beautiful wife and four attractive and successful children.
Besides the fact that he brought in a huge palm plant into the office for us both to enjoy, he has no qualms about sharing his cans of diet coke (so selfless!), his trail mix (tasty and home made), or his sticky notes. What a swell guy!
But what me made me smile the most, and the story I like to recount the most to this day is the time his wife called. After he got off the phone he glanced at me sheepishly then broke out in a huge grin and said, "yeah, she still digs me." A la amore.
