SMS Sickness

This is NOT a test of the emergency broadcast system.

By the time you get this message, I fear it will be too late. The contagion has spread much faster then anticipated. The infection is far stronger then we thought possible. The thumbs of the infected have become calloused and chapped from over use. Arthritis and hang nails are sure to follow.

We have exhausted all routine avenues of dealing with the problem: nagging, hiding the phone, the evil eye.

Current our only hope is to send a rocket into space carrying a large supply of KFC. The most addictive material we possess to enlist the help of wiser, more benevolent alien races.

In the mean time, if you have a cell phone with SMS service, SMASH IT! And if you feel the need to text message someone, follow these direction immediately: take your thumb and insert rectally.

So these individuals using technology is a bad thing? Would you classify blogs as current technology for a format of communication?

By no means is am I saying technology is a bad thing. I love technology. What is a bad thing is when people start to exclude those around them to focus obsessively on a technology.

Maybe the texts were of importance and needed to be addressed immediately....some people just have to communicate when the mood strikes them. All in the topics I guess
