Woke up yesterday at 4am. Today at 5am. Thank you Daylight Savings Time (DST). Every year I rant about this, and as you have guessed, this year ain't going to be any different. But mostly besides my utter disdain for DST, I have to ask why do we still do this. No, really, why? I never speak to anyone who says, 'thank God for that extra bit of light in the morning, I don't mind all the dark on the other end - totally worth it!' I mean, do you?So this just lead me to the inevitable question: who would be upset if we got rid of DST? Nobody that I know of. So why do we still use it?
