That Kind of Girl

One of the reasons I started this Blog, besides needing a cheap form of therapy, was because I was teaching Blogging in my Internet Skills class. So this week I got my students all set-up and blogging away. I told them that I would be stopping by their blogs to make sure they were on the right track and that I would leave them feedback in their comments. At this point one of the my students says to me 'Are you That Kind of Girl'. Well, just like in the movies you could hear the needle screech across the record, everyone stopped in their tracks, one student mumbled 'man, that was rude!' And I managed to sputter 'w-wh-what?'

Now the inquiring student happens to be one of my better students and having had him in my classes for two semesters I can say confidently his parents raised him right. What had happened was a blogger called, you guessed it, That Kind of Girl had left a comment on his blog. Before he even thought of how it would sound it came out of his mouth. Needless to say I think his friends will be bringing up this story for a while .
