Since I am on politics today (read previous post) I thought I would combine it with my other love - celebrities! Again this week I saw a picture of that media whore Jennifer Aniston on the cover of another magazine, this time with the caption 'Don't feel sorry for me'. I don't feel sorry for her over exposed a@#$#, I feel sorry for me, having to contantly see her licking her wounds in public! The last time I saw such a pathetic and cloying use of a broken heart for publicity was when Belinda Stronach dumped Peter McKay. You remember this, Poor Peter, on the cover of every newspaper and magazine across the country fighting the good fight to mend his broken (and disillusioned) heart with the help of his trusty dog and some green fields (that he could, apparently, plow to find some semblence of peace) at the family farm.
I have decided that these two whiners would be perfect for each other. If they got together they could probably milk the press for another two years on how finding love with a celebrity/politician helped them mend their broken hearts.
When did getting dumped become front page news? It used to be you got dumped, spent a couple of weeks getting drunk in the closet or went on a short 'vacation' until people forgot about it. Now it seems you have to pose half naked on the cover of Vanity Fair. I miss the old days.

I know what you mean about Aniston. I don't feel sorry for her either. She has GADS of money, makeup artists and hairstylists and designers throwing free clothes at her. We should all be so lucky when we get our a$$es dumped! The rest of us have to wallow with a pint of Ben and Jerry's, bad makeup, worse hair and still figure out a way to pay off Visa
