I beg to differ with the Boomtown Rats, it is not Monday's that sucks, it's Sunday. By Monday it's already too late to lament that the weekend is almost over. Face it, your already at work.
Sunday though, there you have a full day to ping-pong back and forth with dread about the coming work week. Every time you think you have relaxed into a quiet Sunday, you think of something you have to take care of the next day. It's insidious. And because of this, I don't know if we can really call Sunday a day off.
This is especially true for people who insist on working on Sunday, even though they have it off. Someone like Mark. I put down my foot and he doesn't go into the office anymore, but short of hiding his computer he is going to put in at least 2-3 hours of work on Sunday. So I can only image that the dread I start to feel on Sunday, must start for him on Saturday.
