Confession of a Dangerous Mind

On Friday I drove to Taber to meet the Shirlster (aka Mom) for lunch. Taber is a nice halfway point between her city and mine. She thought we would have time to shop, I told her there was no way we would get done lunch in less then 2 hours. I was right.

Sometimes lunch with Mom and I is like a giant talking competition. One where we see how many times we can effectively cut the other person off and change the topic of the discussion. It is like dueling tongues. It drives Mark crazy. But it is our process.

Though we didn't fix all the wrongs in the world we did get caught up on the important stuff: gossip, shopping, and Katya.

How sweet. I love the description of you and your mom talking. How I have always wished I had a mother like that.

You are so very lucky.
