Tidbits

So since I have been up since 3:30am, thanks to the f%cking change of season, I have had a lot of time to think about things. Therefore, I have decided to just drop a bunch of topics into this post rather then just focus on one thing.

First off, I would just like to encourage my female readers out there to be a little more self aware of themselves and their friends when they go out for drinks. I recently learned a good friend had her drink tamper with while out at a party. Because her girlfriends where busy yukking it up they didn't notice. We are not teenagers anymore, and we think that this sort of thing can't happen at our age, but it does. So ladies be good friends and keep an eye on your sisters when you are out, because assholes are everywhere.

Seriously, I know some of you think things are just fabulous for me being in Banff, and don't get me wrong I love it here, but I am super lonely. I don't know more then a few people here. So I spend a lot of time watching TV, eating out alone, and wandering the streets by myself. Because of this, if you are in town, or thinking of coming to town, give me a ring, I would love to see some friendly faces. And I want visitors, so think about when you want to come visit, we would love to have you.

On Tuesday, if everything goes according to plan, we will have sold our house in Lethbridge. Only took us 15 weeks on the market! We didn't' get as much as we wanted, but we got pretty much what I thought it was worth in the first place. I remember thinking the number the Realtor gave us was far more then what I had in my head, and we ended up damn close to that number. Thank god this is done. Now maybe we can buy a place here and get settled.

Finally, my other good news. I am half way done my Christmas shopping. When did Christmas start being more about shopping and less about fun?
