Almost Sweet Home

On Saturday we decided it was time to relocate the cats to our Banff condo. We took all the necessary precautions. We drugged them, packed them in breathable boxes and wedged them between the rest of the crap we were moving.

Mushu being an old hand at this, took the pill, smiled slyly, curled up and went to sleep. Bright boy. Yuko, decide rather to go for this years coveted bat-out-of-hell award and fought the sweet release of the drugs the whole way. All 3.5 hours of the trip. Most of which was spent looking at me with wonky, crack laden eyes, which endlessly accused me of 1). taking her to the sausage factory, and 2). making her life a misery worse then working as a waitress at Hooter's less prestigious sister bar, TaTa's.

I wish I could convey to you the evil glare she fixed upon me. Or the hours of yowling, mewling, and crazy clawing that followed. But luckily, the human brain can only take so much. So after we ushered her into her new abode, and carried to the litter box she couldn't find in her drugged soaked addle, I blocked it out. Now, if you ask about those 4 hours, I will tell you, I was at Pippin, and it was spectacular!

Rob and his cat moved in on Sunday! However, Norton (the cat)brings nothing but joy to Rob and I and even more so Anew. That dog loves Rob's cat! Can't wait to see your new place and the cats.
