First Triathlon

Yesterday, I completed my first Triathlon. I was very nervous about it. I actually told Mark on Saturday night that I wasn't going to do it. But I sucked it up and got up the next morning. It wasn't the best weather, as it was raining. By the time I transitioned from the bike to the run, my thighs were frozen. For the first 10 minutes of my run I wasn't sure my knees were bending as my legs were so cold!

But I did it! I am really sore today, but I didn't cry and I didn't crawl to the finish line. I completed in 1 hour and 24 minutes. So I feel really proud of myself. Today, I am walking a little taller.

Here are my times.
Swim: 04:47
Bike: 52:59
Run: 26:56

Obviously, my biking needs a lot of work.
