I am a word geek. I love words. So I couldn't resist this page on how Commonly Used Idioms came about. The explanation for Balls to the Wall alone, is worth the read. Although Dead as a Doornail has a rather interesting history as well.

I am also design geek, so when I saw this article on Chip Chick on how to create your own pop art portrait I was all over it. I thinking that having a couple of photos done might make for cool Christmas presents.
